Traditional Cantonese dishes are good . The Lobster Mountain was pretty good and it was the reason we went there. Kind of pricey. But I recommend to try it.

We enjoyed South Garden a lot! It’s right next to a huge Chinese supermarket, so even though there was a queue (20 mins) when we arrived, we could walk around till a table was open. The lobster tower was really good — quality of the seafood itself is great, and the preparation was also well done. The asparagus and beef stir fry was also very good.

Solid Classic Cantonese restaurant with fresh seafood. Really traditional but did not get soup as appetizer or dessert soup or fruit at end of dinner like in NYC Chinatown. I would definitely come back and try again.

South Garden is a great spot for Chinese food! The garlic chicken was super tasty, and the lobster tower was incredible – so fresh and full of flavor. A little but way too crowded but they have plenty of parking. The staff was really nice, and the food came out fast. If you’re craving good Chinese food, definitely check out South Garden!

South Garden is a Chinese restaurant located right outside the heart of Quincy Center serving traditional South Chinese and Cantonese dishes for lunch and dinner. The staff are friendly, definitely helps to know Cantonese but they can communicate well in English as well. As for the food, its alright. The quality is pretty much the same as other restaurants, though the beef satay chow fun wasn't as good as other places i've tried. Very good spot to get traditional Cantonese dishes like fried squid or fried porkchops for a reasonable price and reasonable quality.

Look at that lobster mountain! 5 lbs of lobster just $100? Someone recommended this on red notes, so I came to give it a try! And it really amazed me. I can tasted the 'wok hay'! This restaurant tastes better than lots of NYC chinese restaurants!

Really enjoy their Hong Kong Style Lobster, fresh and cook perfectly. Their teowchew style chives were delicious as well. Highly recommended if you are lobster lover.

Overall a good place for Cantonese style dishes. Dishes are a little salty. But services are pretty fast. Items with prices on the menu are good, market price dishes can shock you.
